Candy Corn and Nuts Halloween
Cake
Cake Ingredients:
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts; coarsely chopped (use a blender)
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
Topping Ingredients:
1 can vanilla frosting
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted roasted peanuts; coarsely chopped (use a blender)
1 Butterfinger candy bar, chopped
1/3 cup candy corn
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 13" x 9" cake pan.
In large bowl, combine the cake ingredients. Beat as low speed until
moistened then beat 2 minutes at high speed.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
In medium bowl, mix frosting and peanut butter until smooth. Spread
evenly over cake. Sprinkle with peanuts and candy bar. Arrange candy
corn on top.
